Halftime: Wisconsin 42, Nebraska 10

Oh boy. It’s hard to completely count these comeback kids out, but the Huskers certainly have never overcome a deficit like this.
The story so far: Wisconsin’s efficient and explosive offense slicing up Nebraska’s defense without any resistance for two quarters. The Badgers have 391 offensive yards and 290 of those have come on the ground (10.7 yards per carry right now).
UW offense has the Huskers off-balance and befuddled. The game plan (get NU in space and exploit match-ups) was perfect, and the Badgers have executed almost flawlessly. Throw in some horrible tackling by NU — did you see Melvin Gordon’s final run right before the half that set up ANOTHER score? — and it’s probably the worst first-half performance by the Blackshirts under Bo Pelini.
Meanwhile, Nebraska’s offense has been unable to keep up. The Huskers seem to have abandoned their ground game (Rex Burkhead had one second-quarter carry) — because the deficit is so large, maybe. And being one-dimensional against a well-coached defense is not a good idea.

Anyone getting sick of seeing these questions about watching games online?

Anyone getting sick of seeing these questions about watching games online?

How can we get rid of these clowns that keep asking about watching games online and buying cheap jerseys online?? I like it on Sunday when someone without a life asks and answers every single game question about where to watch online......They actually go into detail game by game......GO AWAY

They're really just ads made by a computer. The account is usually less than a week old and same for the "person" that answers. I've reported several and told YA they need to moderate these "questions" as they are spam ads, but just like the troll problem they could really care less.

Yeah, they are annoying together with Francisco Lopez asking who played the Super Bowl wholesale nfl jerseyand all those kids asking which position they should play, if they come to Y!A to find it out they probably suck.

I'm through with it.

What makes me most upset is they aren't real questions about sports but instead about how they can watch sports.

We need a programmer to write a script that will automatically take care of that and those  Wholesale Nike NFL Jersey.

I can't stand it!75% of the questions here are games on line questions.

National football league Alternative Refs Music Parody - Flo Rida "Whistle" - The NOC

The NOC is definitely an entertainment funnel concerning the personas and lives of sports athletes. Catch the earth's most well-known sports stars saying and doing the unpredicted every week around the NOC!

To Date, Underdogs and Unpredictability Rule in N.F.L.

Chase Stuart creates concerning the historic and record side of football at his site, FootballPerspective.com

Pete Rozelle imagined of the parity-filled league by which any team could win on the given Sunday. If alive today, the previous N.F.L. commissioner would surely smile at just how the 2012 season has began. 1 / 2 of the league’s 32 teams have 2-3, 3-3 or 3-2 records, only the third time since 1970 the league am tightly packed red carpet days.

Only in 2001 - the entire year Colonial grew to become among the unlikeliest Super Bowl champions - were more teams (17) inside a half-bet on .500 red carpet days. The final two seasons, roughly two-thirds from the teams had a minimum of two more wins than deficits or deficits than wins. However the first third from the 2012 season continues to be one of the most unpredictable stretches in modern N.F.L. history. Consider: Underdogs are 57-32-2 from the spread this season, the 2nd-greatest rate red carpet days in 35 seasons.

Since 1978, underdogs have won approximately 50 % of games from the spread throughout the very first six days of the season, and just in 1999 did underdogs fare best compared to what they have this season. Underdogs are 40-51 in games this year, the very first time in N.F.L. history that whenever six days, 40 underdogs have won games outright.

Yankees present Chipper Johnson with third base

Because Alex Rodriguez isn’t doing much by using it anyway.

Inside a pregame ceremony praising the retiring future Hall of Famer, Derek Jeter and Andruw Johnson presented Chipper Johnson using the third base bag used at Yankee Stadium in last night’s game.

Obviously, Chipper and Andruw were teammates in Atlanta for 12 years.

Not everybody really wants to perform the retirement tour, jerseys usa but Chipper has collected lots of neat memorabilia by heading out by doing this. The Yellows also gave him basics. He collected a Stan Musial signed jersey in St. Louis along with a Braves banner that accustomed to fly above Wrigley in the last game in Chicago.

Chipper, who had an RBI double in Tuesday night’s win, didn’t start today’s day game, but he'll be available from the bench.Wholesale Jersey

Patriots' Branch is more into big wins than extra attention

He plays offense. He's won at least two Super Bowls, and he was the MVP the last time the New England Patriots won the NFL championship.

Know who it is?

"I'd have to say Tom," New England safety Patrick Chung said Monday. Nope, not Tom Brady.

The same question seemed to stump running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis for a few seconds, too. Then he said it's really not important who got the honor in a game where the biggest reward is the Vince Lombardi Trophy that goes to the NFL champion.

"To me, MVPs don't matter," he said. "The only thing that really matters is us going out there and performing well."

And it doesn't matter to Deion Branch, either. He was the Super Bowl MVP when the Patriots beat the Eagles 24-21 seven years ago for their third championship in four years. He has been overlooked a bit this season, with Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez grabbing most of Brady's passes and the headlines.

"That's cool," said Branch, who has that MVP trophy stored safely in a glass case at his home. "I just do my job. I can't worry about who's controlling it and who's saying A, B, C, D. I just do my job I'm not here to be the one that (says), `Hey I need all the attention.' That's not me."

His contribution doesn't escape the discriminating eye of coach Bill Belichick as he prepares his team for Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants on Sunday.

"I couldn't imagine anybody on the team not thinking that Deion Branch has a tremendous importance to our football team," Belichick said. "I don't care if they play offense, defense or wash the towels."

Branch, simply, just produces in the shadows of Welker, Gronkowski and Hernandez.

"People who actually play against him, they understand how good Deion is," New York safety Antrel Rolle said. "Deion is a veteran of this league. He understands all the tricks to this game and, most of all, he's great for their system. He fits their system extremely well. So I think Deion definitely gets his due, maybe not in the media or in the press, but within this team as an organization I feel he definitely gets his due."

Chiefs hire McMahon for special teams, oust Haley assistants

The Kansas City Chiefs hired Tom McMahon to coach special teams and cut ties on Monday with three assistants from former head coach Todd Haley's staff.

McMahon will take over for Steve Hoffman, who wasn't retained after Romeo Crennel was elevated from interim head coach to the permanent job. Also let go were wide receivers coach Richie Anderson and assistant offensive line coach Pat Perles.

"I'm very blessed to have the opportunity to come to Kansas City and be a part of Romeo's staff," said McMahon, who spent the past three seasons coaching special teams for St. Louis.

"Romeo and I have a shared vision of what it takes to win, and I'm excited to get started."

McMahon's special teams have been one of the few bright spots for the Rams the last couple of years. St. Louis had the NFL's third-best net punting average in 2010, and punt returner Danny Amendola led the league in 20-plus-yard returns in 2009 and '10 combined.

Crennel has already announced that he will serve as his own defensive coordinator, though he hasn't announced who will be the offensive coordinator.

Longtime assistant coach Bill Muir, who served as offensive coordinator last season, has talked about retirement after struggling in the job.

The Chiefs were interested in former Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman before he chose to join new head coach Joe Philbin's staff in Miami, and former Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who has instead returned to Bill Belichick's staff in New England.

The only other name from outside the organization that has surfaced is Brian Daboll, who was the offensive coordinator in Miami. He was an assistant with Crennel with the Patriots. Among the internal candidates is Jim Zorn, the former head coach in Washington.

Crennel has said he likely won't announce his choice until after the Super Bowl.

Hartnell falls four occasions at ASG, will donate $4,000

Scott Hartnell was prepared to have a hit Sunday in order to raise money for charitable organisation -- literally.

The Philadelphia Flyers' All-Star guaranteed to give $1,000 for each time he fell throughout the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game in their Hartnell Lower campaign to boost money for charitable organisation for every time he falls towards the ice this year.

On Sunday, he upped the ante to incorporate a $1,000 donation for every goal he obtained, but he emerged empty around the scoresheet. He unofficially went lower four occasions as part of Team Alfredsson, helping raise roughly $4,000.

His Flyers teammates along with a couple of others were happy to assistance with your time and effort.

"(Claude) Giroux was attempting to trip me around the faceoffs," Hartnell stated. "He got me lower throughout warmups once."

Toronto's Joffrey Lupul, a teammate of Hartnell's for 2 seasons in Philadelphia, was pleased to not directly donate to charitable organisation if you take him lower throughout the overall game.

"I acquired him once within the first period," Lupul happily boasted. "I'm not sure if anybody saw. I stated it after he fell lower. This really is great. He stated around the bus he would turn to struck me. We spoken about this a bit. He's only a fun guy. We built an excellent relationship playing together. Today both of us had the microphones overall game and that i could hear what he was saying."

Hartnell spent the very first period having fun with Henrik and Daniel Sedin from the Vancouver Canucks. He carried out with two aids in that which was likely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

"It had been neat," stated Hartnell, who thinks he fell 4 or 5 occasions in the overall game. "You watch individuals men and also the little passes that shuttle, the give and gos. On that first change, I'd have it and throw it back their way. It had been pretty awesome. Following the first period once they required me off that line, I requested (coach John Tortorella) basically were built with a bad period. I was just joking around."

Broncos veteran CB Bailey along for that Tebowmania ride

Inside a Broncos season based on miracles, it's difficult to assume anybody (besides Tim Tebow's book writer) taking pleasure in it a lot more than cornerback Champion Bailey.

In early October, Bailey was wasting away the rear finish of his prime having a 1-4 team going nowhere. Then Tebow turned up, and everything instantly transformed.

"It has been unbelievable in a lot of ways, because nobody understood what might happen, nobody gave us an opportunity,Inch Bailey stated now around the Wealthy Eisen Podcast. "It's among individuals things, let's wait and watch the way it plays out. After finding yourself in the 2010 nfl playoffs and winning a game title, individuals are beginning to provide us just a little credit."

This really is Bailey's first visit to the 2010 nfl playoffs since 2005. A week ago, he was named towards the Professional Bowl for that eleventh time, stretching their own record for cornerbacks. Even at 33, he remains a vital a part of a Colorado defense that's been largely overlooked within the madness of Tebowmania.

"We do not obtain the credit I believe we deserve, but simultaneously, we do not care," Bailey stated. "We're winning games. That's the content it is a team sport. Tebow, he's getting lots of attention, however the more and more people watch him, the greater people watch us."

Bailey managed to get obvious there is no bitterness from the insanely famous quarterback within the Broncos' locker room.

"He's our siblings, therefore we cheer for him," Bailey stated. "We would like him to obtain that attention. He handles rid of it, which causes it to be even simpler for all of us to love him."

Tim Tebow versus. Tom Brady would be the focus of Saturday's divisional-round game at Gillette Stadium. But Tebow will not factor much if New England's offense carves up Colorado enjoy it did in Week 15. The spotlight may be on Tebow, but Bailey & Co. must be the heavens.

Play Fantasy Football in the Post Season and Compete for the Grand Prize.

Despite the presence of one of the league's top scorers in Carmelo Anthony, the New York Knicks have struggled offensively for the majority of the young season.

The return of Amare Stoudemire may help.

Stoudemire expects to be in the lineup Wednesday night when New York seeks to beat the Charlotte Bobcats at Madison Square Garden for the fourth straight time.

Anthony is averaging 27.0 points per game for the Knicks (2-3) after a 35-point performance in Monday's 90-85 home defeat to Toronto. New York has scored 85 points or fewer in all three of its losses, and its 40.2 percent team field-goal percentage ranks near the bottom of the league.

Stoudemire has missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle, but said he's excited to return to the court Wednesday. He'd averaged 17.3 points through the first three games.

"I can't wait," Stoudemire said. "It was tough watching (Monday), so I can't wait to get back out there to really give us that push that we need."

New York may also get a boost from the potentially surprising return of first-round draft pick Iman Shumpert, who coach Mike D'Antoni said will be a game-time decision.

Shumpert injured his knee in a collision during the Knicks' season-opening win over Boston on Christmas Day and originally was expected to miss up to four weeks.

"I know we lost a game we should have won (Monday)," D'Antoni said. "But again, we've just got to hang in there, get through this period, get guys healthy, and then see what holes we have and see what we have to add to fix them."

Anthony is averaging 29.4 points in his last 11 games against Charlotte, which has lost four straight since a Dec. 26 season-opening win over Milwaukee.

The Bobcats (1-4) fell 115-101 at Cleveland on Tuesday despite 26 points from D.J. Augustin. Following a 96-95 loss to Miami on Dec. 28, Charlotte's last three defeats have come by an average of 24.7 points.

"It's just not gonna work if we don't play hard all the time," coach Paul Silas said. "We're not talented enough to not play hard all the time. You can't just give (the game) away and let it happen."

Traveling to New York won't make things any easier if recent history is any indication. The Bobcats have lost three straight at Madison Square Garden, where they are 3-9 all-time. However, the last five of those defeats at MSG have come by four points or fewer.

The Bobcats nearly overcame a 16-point deficit the last time they visited New York on Nov. 23, 2010, but came up short by a 110-107 score. Augustin scored 24 points in the loss.

Charlotte defeated the Knicks 114-106 at home March 26 despite a 36-point effort from Anthony.
